Before leaving his parents-in-law, Srinivasa thanked Akasa Rajan for his hospitality and said "I would not forget this at any time and I request you to ask for anything you desire which I shall do without any hesitation. I shall also fulfil any of your wishes in the future too!"
"By Thy Grace," the kind replied, "I am far above any wanting. I am happy to have had the royal comforts far. If I should desire anything, then I should request only one thing from you - that I should centre my mind in Thee. Nothing else I need anymore".
"So shall it be I" said Srinivasa - the peak - ecstacy of the King. The King's joy knew no bounds.
On his journey Srinivasa reached the hermitage of sage Agasthya. The sage greeted the couple devotedly. The he said to his followers, "Elders say that newly wedded couple should not ascend the hills for the first six months. So we shall be going over to Seshachalam after staying for six months in this hermitage". When Srinivasa announced this the other followers took leave from him and reached their respective places.
Thus Srinivasa and Padmavathy were spending happily their time in the hermitage of sage agasthya.
