Sri Lakshmi Realizing the truth became happier as before The Lord was also pleased. Then the Lord spoke to Sri Lakshmi Devi again, "Devi! For my marriage with Padmavathy I have borrowed from Kubera. I should clear this debt. I do not know how to repay the loan. I have promised to pay the interest as well. Therefore you should do me a favor. Enrich the wealth of my devotees in this age of darkness.
When they are intoxicated with riches, they will be getting into problems. Again they will seek my guidance when I help them solve their problems they shall be paying their contributions to me. This is the only way I could think of paying the interests to Kubera.
The Lord also assured that they would be returning back to Vaikunta after the end of the Kali Yuga "Until then you may pervade your power in the Swami-pushkarini, the lotus pond here; and you can abide on my heart." Sri Lakshmi Devi agreed to this plan of the Lord. She minified her stature and joined the Lord in his heart. The Lord asked Viswakarma to build a mansion near Sukha Maharishi's hermitage on the banks of a lotus pond. Viswakarma accordingly built a big mansion. On an auspicious day the power of Sri Lakshmi Devi pervaded the mansion. Later Maharishi planned a village around the mansion.
